Gormeet Terms of Service

Welcome to Gormeet, operated by Veylo AB ("Gormeet", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gormeet platform, website, mobile applications, content, and services. By creating an account or using Gormeet, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the Gormeet website, applications, technology, and services.
• "User" refers to any individual using the platform.
• "Business" includes restaurants, cafés, bars, brands, agencies, and commercial entities.
• "Creator" refers to individuals or organizations publishing content on the platform.
• "Content" includes text, photos, videos, comments, branding materials, menus, reviews, and other uploaded materials.

2. About Gormeet

Gormeet is a social platform centered around food, dining culture, creators, restaurants, cafés, bars, and food-related experiences. The platform enables discovery, interaction, publishing, promotion, and community engagement.

3. Eligibility

You may use Gormeet only if doing so complies with applicable laws. Users under 18 may use the platform only where legally permitted. Businesses and organizations must ensure that individuals using company accounts are authorized representatives.

4. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and safeguarding login credentials. You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account. Gormeet may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts suspected of unauthorized activity, fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

5. Creator and Business Accounts

Creator and business accounts may publish commercial or promotional content. Businesses are solely responsible for ensuring that claims, pricing, advertisements, partnerships, and promotions comply with applicable laws and regulations. Sponsored collaborations must be clearly disclosed where legally required.

6. User Content Ownership

Users retain ownership of content uploaded to Gormeet. By posting content, you grant Gormeet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, promote, and use the content in connection with operating, improving, and marketing the platform. This license includes the right to display content within feeds, recommendations, editorial features, advertising materials, social media promotions, and platform marketing.

7. Content Restrictions

Users may not upload or distribute content that:

• Violates laws or regulations.
• Infringes intellectual property rights.
• Contains harmful malware or malicious code.
• Promotes violence, hate speech, or illegal activity.
• Contains fraudulent or misleading information.

All Gormeet trademarks, logos, software, designs, interfaces, technology, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to Veylo AB and protected under intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, distribute, or commercially exploit platform systems without written permission.

Gormeet may introduce future services and functionality including:

13. Availability

Gormeet does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, uptime, security, or error-free operation. Features may change, be discontinued, restricted, or modified at any time.

14. Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Gormeet makes no warranties regarding:

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veylo AB and Gormeet shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, reputational, or financial damages arising from:

• Reliance on user-generated content.
• Service interruptions.
• Data loss.
• Unauthorized access.
• Creator or business conduct.

16. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gormeet, Veylo AB, employees, contractors, and affiliates against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from violations of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

17. Termination

Users may stop using Gormeet at any time. Gormeet reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where necessary for legal, operational, security, or moderation reasons.

18. Changes to Terms
